Welcome, and thank you for choosing Your Service Dog Inc.’s handler training school!
In our school, we will teach you, on an individual basis with your own trainer, how to train a Service Dog. You will be learning the Sullivan Method in Lelah’s books, but a much more expanded version, and with one-on-one help. When? We will teach you, individually, when you join up, so it begins when you are ready! If we are backed up because of the teacher to client ratio, just hold on for a bit, and another spot will open up.
You will touch base online with your trainer regularly, as you work through the textbook, and use your workbook. Your trainer will ask for videos of you training your Service Dog in Training, then give you specific feedback on your technique. You will also have direct access to your trainer for questions you might have. Once you have completed the course with a passing grade, you will receive a certificate of completion.
